Emerging Markets Communications signs satellite capacity deals for over 200 million dollars
MIAMI, USA - NOVEMBER 2008 – Emerging Markets Communications (EMC),a leading provider of end to end satellite networks and owner of one of the largest teleport facilities in the world, has increased the satellite capacity available for its customers by recently signing contracts with Yahsat and Arabsat for a value of approximately 200 million Dollars . By leasing new C-Band capacity in both satellite fleets on a long term basis agreements, adding it to its current contracts with Intelsat, Telesat, Gascom among others, EMC sums up to 1000 MHz of satellite capacity and reinforces its ability to provide end to end services to high profile customers around the world.
The new contracts, added to the existent ones, ensure EMC to keep pace of the steady growing needs that operations and/or business of its customers are constantly demanding in the coming years.
EMC provides true end to end communications services to organizations that have operations in countries where satellites are their best or only option for communicating.
